Gluten-free salmon and potato pie

This salmon and potato pie is easy to make! A classic choice for people with gluten intolerance.


  • 3 large potatoes
  • ½ onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • ½ tbsp. butter
  • 1 can of 214 g red salmon, undrained
  • ½ tsp. thyme
  • milk (if required)
  • mozzarella cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 gluten-free pie crust, uncooked


  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Cook potatoes until tender. Drain.
  3. In a saucepan, sauté onion and garlic in butter over medium heat.
  4. Add onions, garlic, salmon and thyme to cooked potatoes. Mash with a little milk, if necessary, to desired consistency.
  5. Spread mixture into a gluten-free pie crust.
  6. Grate mozzarella cheese over the top.
  7. Bake on bottom rack for approx. 35 minutes. You can cover the top tier with aluminum foil to prevent the cheese from overheating.
