¼ cup vegetal oil ¼ cup butter ½ cup brown sugar ½ cup Blackstrap molasses 1 egg ½ cup milk 3 cups all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking soda
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
2. Add baking soda to molasses and mix with oil, butter and brown sugar.
3. Add milk and flour. Mix well.
4. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the greased baking pan.
5. Bake for 10 minutes.
Original recipe make about 27 cookies.
